Not far from where we were staying in Ucluelet, British Columbia is a lovely trail called the Wild Pacific Trail. Not to be confused with the longer and more popular West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island.

Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery is in northeastern Catalonia. It is one of the more scenic places I’ve been to before. I found out about this location from the travel bloggers I follow on twitter. If you happen to be in this region you have to make a stop at this Monastery. Prague Castle is the Castle located on the hill. It is close to the city centre and a must visit if you are staying in Prague. The castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and built sometime in the 800’s. It is OLD to put it bluntly. I love all things medieval, maybe it is an appreciation for the buildings and craftsmanship of that time. Winter is back again! The best way to enjoy the winter is to find some fun activities. Winter fun started with snowshoeing in Muskoka. Muskoka is cottage country in Ontario, it’s beautiful in both summer and winter.
