A Walk Through a Monastery in Catalonia Spain

Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery

Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery

Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery
is in northeastern Catalonia. It is one of the more scenic places I’ve been to before. I found out about this location from the travel bloggers I follow on twitter. If you happen to be in this region you have to make a stop at this Monastery. It is in the region of Cap de Creus National Park, providing lots of opportunities for other day trips as well.Below are a few pictures that illustrate the beauty of the monastery and the area. The Medieval Appeal of the Prague Castle

St Vitus Cathedral

St Vitus Cathedral

It is close to the city centre and a must visit if you are staying in Prague.  The castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and built sometime in the 800’s. It is OLD to put it bluntly. I love all things medieval, maybe it is an appreciation for the buildings and craftsmanship of that time. Have a look at this door we found within the castle, could we find something so unique in this day and age?!?! Continue reading

The Old World Charm of Bath, England

The City of Bath

The City of Bath

About 2.5 hours west of London England is a city called Bath. It is also a Unesco World Heritage Site. As with most things in England, the city is old and has lots of history behind it. The city was established to be a spa/”Bath” for the Romans many years ago. I only realized once I got there that this was how the city got its name. There were many pubs with very good deals throughout the day Continue reading

I love Christmas!

This is my favourite time of year.  I love the decorations, I love the Christmas music and movies, and I love visiting family and friends.  It is a great time of year, lots of love.

Many years ago, I received my first Santa Claus decoration from my Mother.  Each year I am given a new Santa Claus.  In the picture below you can see just a few from my collection.
