Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. There is so much to do and everything is decorated so nicely.
We have visited the Toronto Christmas Market a number of times. It is hosted at the distillery district and this area is one of the oldest in Toronto. The market has shops that sell handmade decorations/unique food and there is beer and mulled wine making it a fun filled visit. This market keeps growing year after year and there are so many people that visit it now.
The mall in downtown Toronto is buzzing with activity during the holidays but I had to go in just to see some of the decorations. I’m not a huge fan of their Christmas Tree but the lighted reindeer are amazing.
And finally what makes Christmas a true blue Christmas…… SNOW and lots of it. I was able to walk around downtown during the snowstorm and snap some really fun pictures. You may know our flatiron building right downtown, it looks so different when snowing.
Dang! If only I had a day in Toronto. Too bad I was only in YYZ for a brief layover. Would’ve loved to have visited this market and, perhaps, acquire a collector’s mug! You should check out my post on the Vancouver Christmas Market. =)
Thanks for stopping by.I feel the same way about Vancouver…. if I just had another few days there.I will definitely check out your Vancouver post!
