Every trip that I go on I always try to make sure that we get to do something adventurous and something that we haven’t really done or seen before. When we visited the Lake District in England I researched horseback riding… because what could be more English than riding in the countryside. If you are visiting the UK you should definitely look into horseback riding as one of your activities.

Getting ready to go for a ride…

Really fun and extremely relaxing is how I would describe it and that is exactly how vacations are supposed to be. I’ve only been on a horse one other time so I was really excited about it. We were lucky that day and had our guide to ourselves. Our guide provided a really relaxed atmosphere. We went with Hipshow Farms which was just outside of Kendal…. not very far from Ambleside the town we were staying in the Lake District. Bottom line is if you are going to England you have to book a riding trip!!!
